Trebor Ships the Largest Heater in its Class

Salt Lake City, Utah — Trebor^® today announced that they had shipped a substantial number of 216kW Quantum DI water heaters to major semiconductor Fab foundries in Asia. The 216kW heater is the largest standalone DI water heater in its class. These shipments highlight how Trebor’s DI water heaters are the preferred choice for new Fab construction and expansion due to their performance, reliability, and global support network.

Trebor’s DI water heater uses a revolutionary heating technology to provide exceptional process purity and control. Heat is generated using resistive heating elements on the exterior of the quartz tube and transferred via conduction to the fluid. This conductive heating method allows the heating element to operate at a much cooler temperature than IR heating systems and provides the basis for a very responsive heating control system. The unique heater design eliminates the potential for metal contamination due to potentially exposed metal heating elements in immersion style heaters. The heater’s superior process control and reliability are designed to outperform and outlast other available quartz heating systems.
